FreeByte also has some good compilers and random things you might be interested in.

Compilers 'n Such
The Microsoft Developer Network also has some really good IDEs and fun stuff for free.
I also found a PDF version of SAMS' Teach Yourself Visual C++ in 21 Days. This is also free.

You can tell I like free stuff.
