I get 4 screens loading every time I boot. The titles are:

DrvmCDB
Diagnostic Traces
UDF Formatter
DrvmCDB Pending IO

The look like command prompt screens. I'm fairly certain they have to do with the CD/DVD Writer but I don't know what software uses them to uninstall. Anyone know or know how to turn this off?

We found it to be something wrong with the installation of Sonic programs, specifically, Sonic's RecordNow! and related programs from Sonic. Uninstalling these programs fixed the problems. Reinstallation of the software (so we could burn CDs) has not caused it to happen again. Something just needed to be reset in the registry or the drvmcdb.sys or drvmcdb.ini file.

Sonic RecordNow! comes bundled with Dell and HP systems, not sure what other systems bundle it.

That was it. I had uninstalled it with the program uninstaller but it was still in the control panel. Once I removed it there the problem went away. :) Thx.

You are welcome :)
It's good that it's fixed now.. I hate useless windows during startup myself.
