Hi all,
I'd a site which I'll be goin to optimise soon. I am in great confusion..

I'd to optimise this site for keywords like
Paid Survey ---- 188 (wordtracker count)
Free Survey --- 25

when I used wordtracker it showed more count for plurals i.e.

Paid Surveys ----- 417
Free Surveys ---- 104

Now I wanna ask if I can optimise the site for both singular and plural keyword and how is that possible..

as I can use only one of the combination (either single one or plural one in title)
in link exhange is it advisable to use single and plural both type of combinationas,..

Or will any of you SEO people will suggest me to use only one of them either singula or plural..

thanks for your time and suggestions in advance..

I suggest you start with only one (the plural). Make the anchor text for all of your link backs contain the "s". This will also promote the non-plural version at the same time. Once you have received the position you desire for the plural obtain new links with the singular phrase.

I don't work it that way.. I ask myself if I want that website what will I google, paid survey or paid surveys? In your case I would go for plural but in my case for my business directory I optimized it for the singular as that is the most used, or at least I myself would search for the singular business directory and not business directories.

Hi,

I am doing seo for two years. I will suggest you work for plural kwds. It generally happen that if you are working for big keywords, your small keywords like which have less competitions, rank on the search engine automatically.

So work for big keywords.

All the best.

thanks

I agree 100% with this, as this happened to me on one of my websites.

It looks to me that our friend chaky is a script :) If you look at his posts, and read everyone of them (I did it :)) you can see that he is only opening new threads, and asking stupid question, never reply back, and top of all if you google it, you'll see that his posts are all over the net (forums), and its all duplicate content.

Nice link building strategy, I wish I had that piece of software :)

Just my 2 cents :)

But Jordan told me he was thinking of blocking him.. but eventually, he did not.

BTW there are tons of softwares able to do that.

Ask Jordan. He told me he was thinking of banning him.. but maybe his topics got quite a few replies, so he decided not to ban him... maybe.

yah ,
I hv also noticed that after working on Plural form ur singular forms also updates...
b'coz i noticed it in my own site's case.I m working with onlygowns.com I was on Position 14 for KW Cocktail Dresses and around the same for cocktail dress I promoted only cocktail dresses and within around 15 days i was on 3rd Position for cocktail dresses and on 4 position for cocktail dress ....
So i think u must start with Plural and notice the every single change in the Position of both Plural and singular form.....
U'll get the exact answer with ur own experience...
