Okay y'all. I'm playin around with Linux now. I'm normally a Windows guy but I've decided to switch on and off between Vista and BackTrack2 (I installed it to my HD so I"m not just using the LiveCD)
I've got a problem. I'm trying to install java(web runtime stuff) for Firefox. Well I follow the instructions on their site and it says it is installed but, it isn't being recognized by FF.
So, what should I do?

We've no clue about what you did - or did not. Could you please tell us what you've done so far, og eventually give us the link with the instructions you followed.

sorry I figured every one has installed Java and anyone who had installed it on linux would know if there is anything special you had to do.
