hey guys, where do you lot test out our code for your webdesign etc... back in the day (about 3 years ago) i used to host my own php and mysql server, but it was a complete pain in the arse to setup, and i really dont fancy it on my laptop.

paying for a server just to test and learn code, is a bit much, do you guys have any tricks up your sleeves?

Thanks

Download "wamp" or something similar. You double click one .exe file and it installs Apache, MySQL, and PHP all link together already. Very easy and free!

I use WAMP as well and have it on my laptop. It doesn't actually use a process until you turn it on and when it is on it doesn't use many resources.
