>> what actualy booting process does?
The booting process is somewhat simple, actually. It's a small piece of code (usually in Assembly) which loads whatever installed OS the computer has. This piece of code is usually called a bootloader.
>> bcoz whenever i put on my pc i get a DOS
>> environment and its written "Boot from CD..........."
The message "Boot from CD..." doesn't really have anything to do with the booting process itself - it's simply a message from BIOS, asking what you want to do; boot from HD, from cd, from floppy, etc. The priority of what the BIOS should do (check for CD, and then HD, etc.) can be changed in the BIOS-settings.
>> i can understand if virus has affected

>> done to locate the virus and remove it?
It's different what antivirus-programs are doing. Some tries to delete/remove the virus, some tries to isolate it, and so on. If you've some antivirus-specific question, then you should probably tell us what software you're using.
>> can we install two operating system on pc?
Yes, you can install multiple operating systems on your computer. It's usually called dual-booting when you're choosing which OS to use, when you start your computer.
