After I discovered it needed to be installed as a component, I thought my troubles were over.

But I added a new contact and nothing has changed in either Contacts or EasyContact.

I am missing something and I don't know what it is.
I checked the forum and haven't found anything about this problem there.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Anne

Was the contact published (enabled) and is it set to Public security? What is your website link?

When I click on your "Contact" link it takes me to the com_contact instead of com_easycontact. Did you add a menu item link to easycontact? When I go to the correct URL I can see easycontact:

http://www.asvg.org/...emid,3/lang,en/

Looks nice, BTW.

Hi jordan,

good solution for me it was only the link in main menu not done.

Other question :
in which file can i find the words to transalte into french the fields label of the form?

i 've forgotten to say there's joomfish installed on my webite , is it important?
thank's a lot for your help
Next tomorrow for me it's now time to go to sleep :o

Edit the easycontact.php file in /yourwebdir/components/com_easycontact/ to do any translations.

Hi jordan,
sorry but i don't find what i want to change, i'm not expert in php code but in the file you indicate i find only hover label on 'blue i buttons' on the right of the field form.
Where are the words on the left side of the fields?

Also i'm using joomfish for translation the site in english, if i do some hard translation in french in your php file how could i do the same for the english part of the site.

Thank's for your explainations.
Regards

Once again, to complete previous mail,
I finally found the sentece to translate into english in php file but now the problem is for english part of the site the sentence are now in french.

I don't understand how before i do somthing there was only two line not translated into french and reset button on the form.
What mecanism has done the automatic translation?
Is there another file anywhere to change? it will be the same problem i suppose if i translate the tooltip info into french.

Have you a good idea to suggest
Thank's a lot.
