Hi there, programming gurus.

I got this little thing that I want my computer to do and can't find any software that does it so I quess I have to code my own...

I want a program that reads a pixel on my screen and then does A if the pixel is of certain color and B if it's not. This would be great for triggering stuff to happen. I already know a bunch of things I could use it for, mostly to get output from programs that are not really designed to be inputs for other software.

I'm a newbie in programming and I can't really get too complicated so I just want to know if there's an easy way to do this with some programming language. It doesn't really matter which language, I can learn the language enough to code the effect-part, just need help with the trigger-part from you guys.
