First of all, you need a programming environment for Visual Basic. It could include IDE, RAD, compilers, or whatever else that could be useful. Afterwards you need to find some material and resources. It could be a book, or you could find some tutorials on the internet.

To start up I would recommend that you look in the VB Tutorials in here. In the Tutorials section.

Well There are some good Tutorials/Codes of some guy called Tcm9669.. Found them pretty nice.
