Do your websites visitors statistics drop on the weekends? We see a major drop in our websites on the weekends as high as 500 less visitors per each day! Sunday seems to be worse than Saturday which is worse than Friday. Is this caused by everyone not being at work (surfing the web)?

This happens on CodeCall and just about every other site I have as well. I'm curious to know the statistics of the internet to see if the entire internet feels this dip or if it is just my sites (and yours).

Well I checked on one of my websites which gets some traffic (from 40 to 150 daily) well the traffic is the same average of that of the weekdays.

Do you get 40 or 150 on the weekends? For traffic that small a "dip" would be getting 40 whereas your average is probably around 120.

Actually, the highest sales on my website occur on Sunday, although I think it is kind of slower Saturday. It makes sense, cause most people are out doing stuff on weekends.

You can always check out Alexa.com for traffic stats too. google.com - Traffic Details from Alexa
If you set the Range to 7d and the Graph Smoothing all the way to the left, even google takes a big dip Saturday and Studay.

Our visitors used to dip at the weekends, but since the new year they haven't... absolutely no idea why that is, but it's certainly interesting.

Well, my dirt bike games arcade also has dips on weekends, but I think that it has to do with schools closing on weekend :)
Anyway, people use internet less on weekends cause its resting time :)
Cheers

I know that I spend much less time on the internet during weekend hours whereas during business hours I'm connected all the time.

I find myself on the computer much less on the weekends now. However, on the weekends, I'm all over it!
