I know an 13 year old friend, who wants to go into "Robotics"... Like an basic Battlebot...

Soo... He has absolutely no idea about what he's going to use. He says he's going to make an welded frame... then something about an saw blade welded to the frame... I tell him he needs:

Transmitter
Reciever
Servos
Battery (Lithium Ion, or Lipo)
Brushless or Brushed motor (I say brushless if he wants to use heavy loads)

And he has no idea what the heck I'm talking about. Any books yall recommend for an beginner-begineer?

I used to be interested in robotics, I think everybody goes through a stage of being "into" them.
