cannot decide on which to get.
my main usage is for storage so reliablility is important.

any recommendations?

If you are looking at storage and reliability, you should be looking for RAID.

I prefer WD. They seem to last longer IMO.
A RAID may be what you are looking for. I have one at home and it works great. If the HD fails or the computer crashes your data is still intact.
