I would really, really, really appreciate it if someone could give me code examples or give me information on links to visit for as much information as possible regarding networking in java which INCLUDES retrieving information from a SQL database.

There's so much on networking, and there's so much on JDBC concepts but I can't find any information on how to use the two together in a client / server application. I need as much help as possible please.:confused:
