Hello Jordan,

I am running Mambo v 4.6.2 and I just installed your component "BTW nice work".

I am facing the following error "You are not authorized to view this resource" i tried every option from the "Manage Files" (register-public access) and i can't get it work.

Do you have any suggestions on how to make it work? BTW: when i create a new it does display correctly under the Category and when i click on it ti gives me the error message.

Thank you for your time.

Do you get this error when you try to download a file or when you try to look at the files available for download?

Hello Jordan,

When i click the Category i get a list of all available files(no probs there), when i click on any file in order to download it i get the error message.

I tried also to fake the name of the file for example :

http://192.168.0.200...azines/No73.pdf -- > N73454.pdf

which doesn't exist..and i got the same error message. Which means that it's not the file that causing the problem.

It is strange...i am still trying to find a solution.

Thanks for your time!

Same thing is happening to me. Installed ionfiles a while back and all worked ok with one category and about 10 small PDF files.

This evening I have added a second category with four 700kb PDF files and I get the same message as vens. I can download files if I am logged in, but I need public access for them and my access level is definitely set to Public.

Curious thing is, the files in the other, earlier category still work fine for public users.

that's weird, it works now that I removed it from the menu and added the Ropostiry thingy.

Once it is being linked to via the menu it doesn't work, but if I remove it from the menu and just go to teh page via teh link above it works.

Repository while looks bad does indeed function better so I guess until this one is updated to work or some one can tell me what I am doing wrong, I will stick with the repository application.

That is odd. I've never installed it on Mambo before so I'm not sure what the error is. I will install it and see if I can recreate the error.
