I need to submit my website to all of the directories again but do not want to go through the trouble of doing it manually. Anyone know of a free directory submitter that I can use?

I haven't found a *good* one that is free. You may have to end up forking out the money for a good one.

Free directory submitter?
I am not sure there is anything like that available.
May be you can create a bot of yourself since you're a programming professional :D

I'm not a big fan of automatic directory submitters; manual is the best way to go. You can pay people like $10/100 directory submissions, which I feel is a good deal.

If you use a directory submitter that submits to 50-100 or more directories a day, the search engines will notice that because it isn't natural. This unnatural activity will harm your efforts.
Paying someone to manually submit to 100 or more for you is economical and natural. Taking the time to manually submit 10 a day yourself is natural AND cost effective for someone on a tight budget.
Another advantage of manual submissions is the ability to ensure you get placed in the correct category.
I cannot recommend strongly enough that you avoid any software or outsourced service that mass submits in large quantities.

When you break things up into increments it is always easier. That 10 directories a day thing is a good idea, because it would also look more natural than 100 all at once.
