What turns you off of sites? for me I would have to say spelling - bad spelling is horrible.
========================================
Conclusion:
• Bad spelling
• Code optimized for a single browser
• Bad Graphics
• Hard to read text
• Slow loading pages
• Hard to navigate pages
• Popup's
• Forced sound play on load
• Horizontal Scroll bars
Bad Design

Websites can't turn me off, but I agree, some websites is just... yeah, annoying.
I especially hate when a website is only optimized for Internet Explorer, it usually means it's ugly in all the other browsers.

Well for me it doesn't matter as long as the website has some sort of navigation menu and preferibly a good simple theme... but if the website has content that is worth reading I will read it under any circumstances.. The only thing that pisses me off are popunder and popup windows!
EDIT:
Oh Besides my FireFox crashing!

• Sites which force sound play on load
• Sites with red text on blue background! (or vice versa)
My horror site would be one with a massive animated flashing gif tiled as the page's background, terrible spelling (I'm not a grammar nazi but hey there's a point where it gets a tad annoying), loud annoying audio which fires up on page load. Of course these can be signs of younger people and newbies to web design and you have to give them A for effort, and hope they'll improve their style.
Better than that malicious javascript/exploits crashing browsers and I've seen terrible sites (example, nazi) with professional/more pleasant design, so content is a major factor too.
