Hi!
Strange, but still with version 2.0.0 downloading a PDF-file only works with marking "yes" to "File download?" on my machine.
When I mark "no" to this queation Acrobat Reader (6 & 7) still reports an error due to a corrupt file.
The downloaded file has now a size of 462 Bytes. (Same with a JPG-file)

Friedel

Interesting, I will test this and see if I can replicate the error. Can you post your URL in the meantime?

Thanks, I'll take a look at this very soon. I have an idea of how to get around this problem.

Wouldn't it be smart to use relative paths (starting at the Joomla directory) instead of absolute paths?

Done!
But there is no improvement.
Does it matter that in the new download.php it says: "error_reporting(0);" ?
Regads,
Friedel

That would be because I attached the wrong one. Try this one and let me know when it is installed.

Ok, I think I have this resolved now. Try this download.php.
