As the title says, VE has been giving me some headaches. The problem is I simply can't get it to start.
I have installed it using the update manager by following the steps on the visual editor faq. (can't post link due to this board's anti spam)
After I was done I restarted Eclipse with the -clean commandline parameter and checked the feature list. All the features the faq told me to get were there.
But now for some reason... The program doesn't realise that VE is there. When I rightclick on a class and choose "open with" the VE isn't among the options in the list. Also the help says I should be able to choose visual class when making a new java class but this option isn't there either.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem and my headache? :)

I am not clear with your doubt, what you exactly expect. But what i can explain is this.
Even i use Eclipse Editor for programing in java, but in a project i just double click on the class which i want to view.
If you are trying to access the class choose the "Java Editor" as option when u click on "Open with".
Let me know That when u right click on the class ,then u click on open with it does not show anything ?is it ur problem or doubt:rolleyes:?
