I got a job at the local Pizza Bolis. I'm going to make so much money! Thank God for minimum wage being so unspeakably high.

Indeed, congrats.

However, minimum wage being so high isn't the best thing. Florida for example has gone from the federal $5.15 to a whooping $6.67.

As this minimum wage increase continues, people who make say 10 dollars an hour now, are saying: "Hey, minimum wage went up, I am not worth $3.00 over minimum wage, I am worth $5.00 over."

In short, you have people being extremely underpaid, meanwhile, you can work at McDonalds and make more than you deserve.

Its actually scary....

Minimum wage is one of those things that never really made sense to me. If you deserve more money for the work you do, go someplace that pays it. Also, minimum wage doesn't adjust based on cost of living. Minimum wage may be too low in New York City, but ridiculously high in Wyoming. Why not let market forces deal with it?

It makes the econonmy unbalanced. Captialism needs people to have different classes...

If everyone starts making more money, then prices will sky-rocket.

Economics has proven that.

It's called inflation. When minimum wage goes up, prices go up. I'm afraid when in 50 years small things will cost like $30, and we'll have to carry so much money in our wallets!
