I have this 750Gb Sata Raid here at my house that I use to store information on. Last night my computer started beeping and it was pretty hot. I thought it was over-heating. I turned it off and let it rest over night. When I turned it on this morning I found out it was my raid controller that was doing the beeping, not the computer. Once the raid BIOS loaded I got an error message "Broken Raid" and I have three options (two of which were "Continue and "Destroy"). I chose continue.

Now back in my OS I can access the raid as thought nothing happened. All of my files still work and are in tact. What does the Broken Raid mean? Does it just mean that one of my HDs have failed?

Sounds like one of your Hard Drives is broken or disconnected.

I just had a broken array that I fixed, turns out it wasn't a hard drive error or anything, just a malfunction of the raid hardware. You might want to rebuild your raid.
