Has anyone taken the plunge and everything still worked properly? I believe I will be doing this soon on a test system but am very wary.

I have 2 servers, one with 5.x and another with 4.x. I havnt had any issues with code compatabilities.

I've used 5.x as well and had no code issues.

IMO you should change to PHP5, as you hear, those in here, haven't got problems, and neither have I - or everybody I know. PHP5 have some nice new OOP-features. I haven't been looking so much into it, but a bit.
