I figured the kids could use a computer in their room - looks like a good deal [Link Removed - Affiliate Link] Seems worthwhile if they will actually ship a laptop - anyone else done this before?

Nope, I stay away from these things because they look too much like scams.

You have to participate in promotions. They will send you things in the mail, they might steal your identity. I would stay away. There are plenty of cheap, good laptops around.

There was this one thing like that, and right before they were going to send out the first computer, they shut down. It pissed so many people off!
