I've been putting off getting business cards for awhile and I finally got them, and they are pretty cool. I can't wait to get out there and start handing them out to people, like a real business man. Yep, excited.

Why don't you scan one and post it as an attachment here?

I don't have a scanner but I have a digital camera, but it's not here right now. I'll try to take a picture and show it.

Did you order then on the internet or have them made locally?

I finally got business cards a few months ago for one of the boards I run and I gave them all out to everyone I came in contact with. What I found is that while that helps, there is nothing better then finding ONE person who tells all of their friends about site. If you can find that one person, then they will bring 4-5 good members to your site that will hopefully contribute.
Giving out cards is a good way to push your business and web identity.

I also made myself some nice ones and I am already giving them out. It was easy for me: I do my designs (I am the designer in my firm) and just needed them printed. it's a good thing to have business cards, I never realized this until recently

Update - I have given out approx 250 of the initial 500 business cards I had made for my site/forum. The business cards have led directly to 15-20 new members who have registered and contributed. So far I would have to say that this has been a big success for my site and I will continue to hand them out as much as I can.

It helps in a forum when the users know the administrator personally, or have seen them live.
