What does everyone think about Alienware computers now that Dell owns them? Are they only good for gaming or can they be used for coding just as well?

In my opinion...
I have an Alienware laptop which i use as my primary computer, I honestly haven't turned on my PC in a month. Alienware laptops are retarded... I mean my laptop weighs 25 pounds...
As far as performance goes, I haven't had any problems as long as I keep my fans dust free so it wont over heat, but when you buy an Alienware computer, you are spending $500 extra just for the name. I would never buy another one again just because there isn't anything an Alienware provides that other computers don't for a cheaper price.

if you want a gaming desktop, you can easily just build your own. i couldn't imagine spending that kind of cash on a pre-made computer.
