Hey,
New to the site; I was looking for communities to join and this one seems to suit my interests. My programming so far has progressed through HTML, JavaScript, REALbasic, and several other languages, all of which I am still using and learning. I intend to pick up C++ as soon as I have a spare chunk of time. To see more about me, check out my site at MattNichols.net. Glad to be here.

My game is coming along, though I expect it will be at least a month until I publish the first release. I have coded the physics engine (not too hard in 2D), and have some floating obstacles and homing bad guys, but there are some bugs I have not yet taken time to solve and I plan to build more features (like high scores) into it before I publish. Thanks for asking!

Be sure and let us know once you have published it. I'd like to take a look at it and I can provide bug-reports and testing for you. What OS does it run on?

Well, I am writing it using REALbasic (see their site here), which I have recently and disappointedly learned is rather buggy on Linux, so for now it only runs (well) on Windows. Thanks for the offer, I will surely alert you when I have published.

Hey, just fine, thanks. I Googled "programming forum", I think, and this looked like the best one listed. Gotta love search engines.
