How is ..I have always wondered..that we can hear each others voices through land line or even through the cell phones.. What is it that happens in the wires that stretch from pole to pole and finally to our houses that enables our voices to be carried through wires and come out sounding just like we sound?

What is probably more mind boggling is talking into a cell phone and our voices go through air??? We hear each other..How does all this work..

Any one can answer this .?

Haven't you ever wonder listening to the radio. Just like that. And if you want detailed info. you can search mobile technology.

Mobile technology? I never knew mobile technology encompassed radios too! It is crazy how technology can create these images and sounds though, isn't it?

I'll do a short and simple Xplanation,

When we talk, our voices are converted into digital signals,
Signals are sent to Mobile network
Then those go to the other phone,
Signals are converted again

I think so,

Xtraze ... I like reading your posts..what kind of work do you do...Programming right...I must admit though that I am amazed how the conversion takes place over the telephone wires or over wavelengths.

No problem there xtraze, radio waves are similar to the signals use by cell phone towers.
