I was on another forum..and what was said about "Vista" really turns me away from any notion of getting it .
It was stated by one person that after loading and reloadin vista for a second time..since the first time was full of errors..he found that the program had 119 errors.
Has anyone here had that problem?
Also, he stated that Windows Vista resembles the look of "Mac" and said if he wanted a "Mac" he would have bought one.
Anyone else experiencing difficulties with Window's Vista?

I'm having a lot of problems with it.
1) Cisco VPN *had* a hard time working but after some modifying of settings I got it working.
2) I can not change the default browsers from IE to FF. I've tried several tutorials and suggestions, none work.
3) Wireless drivers from the manufacturer are not available. This means you can only use the Windows default driver and it doesn't support LEAP or PEAP (which many organizations use).
4) The Black Screen has apparently replaced the "Blue Screen of Death". I come back to my laptop and it is nothing but black.
5) Visual Studio 2003 and 2005 have compatibility issues. You would think that Microsoft's own product would work with Microsoft's own OS!
6) I can't sign anything electronically with Adobe anymore.
7) IE7 is buggy and as mentioned above, my default browsers......
8) Line Out did not work on my laptop without some reconfiguration and installation.
Thats about it for now.

I just notice on cnet.com that the review for Windows Vista is 5.6 and that is out of a possible 10..so I think the new version has much to be desired? This poll was done from a poll of 103 users.

I think Microsoft must be Xtra careful when they make Vienna as Vista had not made a success I think. And only good for Office use so far. Not for Professional PC Users.
Eg. 3D animation
Grafix
Games,...ect

I agree..I have been in many forums the past week..and it seems to be common opininon of all those who have Vista that they simply are not happy with this windows version.:(

If you remember though, no one was happy with 98 when released, then 2000 and then XP. lol. You have to wait until MS releases SP1 before the OS actually works correctly. Wait until SP2 for most bug fixes.

That is so true. I wont be getting Vista until they release some service packs. :)
