Yes, I've done this before. Actually, we setup a boot disk with BartPE on it so that we could just take that around instead of carrying a CD.

Well my question is HOW to boot from the USB stick, because I have a WinXP USB version, but I would like to know how can I boot from my USB, well my PC is 2years old, so the Motherboard might support this?

It would support I guess, since you have just a couple of years older PC it might have that feature. You can check out this by entering to the BIOS Setup.
And I suggest you to use a USB 2.0 stick to boot up as its much more faster than USB 1.0 and 1.1
More, I found this link but I did not go through this one yet. Hope it would help you.

Do you mean like turn on the computer with a USB or plug in the USB to a different comp and boot a "saved computer" onto the new one?

Well what I want is, I have an OS installed on a USB stick, I switch on the PC and I boot from the USB stick, so I open the OS installed in the USB stick.
