If I remember correctly, the first time I had a computer; it had windows 3.1.
I thought it was the greatest thing in the world.. What version of windows did you first computer have?:)

mINE HAD MSDOS guys and I have seen windows 3.1 too.
And then 98 SE
And upto now XP.
And then 98 SE
And upto now XP.

I didn't have Windows until my third computer: Windows 3.1 I didn't move up to 98SE until around 2000.

I think my first computer I picked up at a yard-sale was an apple, then I got a gateway 2000 which was state-of-the-art with 16mb of ram and a 1gb hd which had win95

I have to laugh, I was at another website forum and someone who had windows xp was asking others to help him revert back to 3.1; he said he prefers this version.. Why would this be.. anyone know?

If I recall Windows 3.1 has very little to it..but requires at least 8mb..isn't this correct?

I never tried this OS. and it would have consumed only that much space since it dint have so many commands as newer OSs.

What was before windows 3.1? I only remember this as the earliest.?
