Yup, I installed 7 then gone back to 6 ( but now I use FireFox )
I think that I just un-installed it from Add/Remove Programs or I'm might have done a system restore. I don't remember correctly, because it's a long time because when I downloaded it, it was in the early Beta versions.

Go to Add/Remove programs and windows components and remove Internet explorer from there. And install v6.
But why not use Firefox than IE as Firefox is safer, faster and easy to use.
And Opera is also better than IE.

Forget about installing the IE 6. Use IE 7, Mozilla or Opera. There are so many reasons. Go through google search.

Why are you using IE anyway? Firefox is the best. However, I have used IE7 and don't know why you would fancy it over IE6. Well, I actually don't like the placement of the buttons, I can never find the "Stop" or "Refresh" ones, so yeah, the toolbar is really bad. But it stole tabs from Firefox, so that's kind of good (for IE).

Hi, when you do the add/remove program..does it automatically revert back to Explorer 6?

This seems that you are not familiar with IE7. those are the only two main buttons highlighted in IE7, not any other. Just open the IE7 and have a look. lol

I don't actually know as I think that I have made a System Restore rather than used the un-install, btw it's hard to un-install IE explorer completely, you will need some patience and edit somethings manually I think, so I think it would make a roll-back(revert back) to IE6

I prefer IE6..seems that 7 has so many restrictions and security issues with a variety of websites and forums that I visit:)

Yes, it automatically reverts back to 6. I installed 7 on my laptop and it caused a lot of problems at my work especially with the SAP GUI. Simply removing the product reverted me back to 6. Now that I am on Vista, there is no removing of IE 7. I'm stuck with it......
