Can anyone recommend any SQL books? I need to learn this sooner or later and would like to get started. I need a book that talks at my level (non-advanced) and then progresses. I know the book will be boring so that doesn't matter, I just need something that is easy to understand.

I don't know SQL Much only the Basic little.
But like to learn as much as I can as this sounds useful.

This is what I bought
Amazon.com: Sams Teach Yourself SQL in 10 Minutes, Third Edition: Books: Ben Forta
Although it really isn't necessary to buy a book as there numerous free sources on the internet.

Did you learn it in 10 minutes? I hate the title of those books for that reason.... I've got Mastering SQL from Sybex by Gruber. Boring book but very helpful.

SQL is one of those languages that makes complete sense to me. Probably because I love set theory. You can know enough to do reasonably complicated select statements in 10 minutes. The rest of it doesn't take that much longer.
