Is this a downloaded from the internet or something? Or it's just a blank MS?

Once I had a problem with Jet, but not with MS, I forgot what

This might help?

There are download link too, Perhaps installing Jet 4.0 SP8 would help you?

Thanks, I'm using Windows XP at the moment, so I got to go for the 2nd Download link listed in the URL which you have replied.

And about the database which I was trying to open was a blank database, I also encountered the warning message with some other database as well, which were either not downloaded or a blank one.

Well there should be something mixed up! so the DataBase tells you to update to JET 4.0 and the JET 4.0 update tells you that you already have the latest version?

Thats kinda confusing?

Just a quick question, You running XP service Pack 2?

I just ignore this Warning and continue working.
But don't use Access much, only to organize things.

Hey you just can't avoid warnings like that, as I'm dealing more with VB 6, I tend to get on to MS Access as a back-end. So whenever I try to open, I get this warning message.
