Maybe the bots take sometime to crawl all sites and show the results, This is not real-time, you know. And can take weeks.

The proper command for Google is link: Also, the question of "how to get more links" is one of the fundamental things in SEO, and people are always finding new ways to do it. My suggestion: Directory and article submissions.

You said ( Directory ), but I also said ( Article ), which is perhaps more effective than directory.

I'll see about that, don't want to spend money on a website that I just made for fun.

And I see your Website link on your Signature. Why not join some more forums and use the signature and mention your website in the forum perhaps.

What does the term "backlinks" mean; I saw this also posted on another website I visit on occasion?

Yes but once when I searched for a free webhost I found an article many times in many forums. And that's the only post the member had posted. He had done his job well. But his site didn't work then.

Well I would consider that as SPAM, I don't think thats the way to do things! It's like I come here, sign up, make a stupid post and leave? nah that won't be fair!
