This little tool, open source, will edit some registries ( which you select ) to for example rename the Recycle bin, add something to the Context menu.. enjoy :)

Its VB6.0 to be exact! I will post some .NET codes some time...

thanx alot. i will use this to see how i can access the registry in a nice way. i want to make a little program that removes the dog in windows search

That is simple just make the search in classic view.

Download the TweakUI.exe from Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP
it has the option to change the look of search like it was on windows 2000 etc....
