From what I read on other forums ( the 1st time I heard about this ) seemed like Notepad2 is more powerful?

What can you do with a new notepad that you can't do with the original Notepad? I thought Notepad was only for basic web design and jotting down notes and stuff, didn't know people were actually still working on it.

These new notepads have syntax highlighting and some have tabs. They are better in every way.

I never heard Notepad++ before, it seems to be my C++ editor for this years studies. since just got to start C++ this semester..
