I have a phpBB forum and a SMF forum. I dont have a problem with either. But i know where to go to fix my problems if i have them.

Yea. I haven't had much problem with either, but SMF is so new, that packages and mods are not compatable to all versions. But In time.

There are some new forum softwares rising up in the scene and I have seen a coulpe use AJAX and AJAX means better and actually they are.

Metaforums - Very simple and uses AJAX for everything.
Dolphin - Better and uses AJAX for everything.

And, AJAX is the future or anything related to the web.

and phpBB is nice too only the 3rd version looks and feels better than the rest.

wow, I really didn't knew it was 160$s, I thought it was cheaper and now I wonder why people buy it. SMF is nice and has some action and vBulletine is good, but comparing with the price, this is too much.

Well they seem to take over the internet so they are abusing of this and increasing the price?
