Has anyone tried paying for text links back to your software/website?
I'm curious because I am trying to build my ranking position and thought about spending some money on text links. Does this work?

I've tried and quite. They produce nothing in return... I now purchase links from individuals because they are a lot cheaper but they give no click-thrus for me. I purchase them for SEO only.

I have obtained links in this way, both for traffic an SEO, but if you want it for SEO, the site you are buying from has to be somewhat related to your own, the link has to be active for at least 2 months and the website it is on has to be at least PR4.

It can be PR3, PR3s are fine. I have bought text links and it has helped my website immensely, as has article submission, which is very effective.

I am replying rather than PM as if I didn't buy maybe someone else who sees this can buy and can be good for you. Sorry, but at the moment I am not buying anything and actually saving a sum to backup my future projects. And after beginning those I will get one from you.
Thank you lol.

You can purchase text links from here if you like for fairly cheap.

I'm also interested in buying links from sites that have a PR - side wide preferable. Let me know your offers.

I dont understand too much these concepts of selling and buying ads... the only thing i understand is that i can sell advertising space in my site!
But i think buying ads is buying advertising space in other sites right?
Well, i've seen many sites where people place their ads... try GoldAge they have more than 2000 visits per day!

I say Codecall advertising Offers are quite cheap and well worth. And the banner Offer is nice, I may tell people who need this and maybe they will buy a Banner, sometimes.
