Do you guys create help files for your products???

What do you use? CHM seems to be outdated and hard to use. Is PDF good for help files? Does everyone have the ability to read PDF? What other options are there?

Almost everyone can read PDF so go with that. Or you could always make an HTML version of your help.

Either way would be good. I agree that CHM is outdated.

My job is to write help files. We just switched from .hlp to .chm. We also provide .pdf.
