What makes a software or website or anything for that matter viral market worthy? When I say worthy, I mean what actually makes people talk about it?
I think it has to be something new, something unique and something that people would like to use or need. I don't believe that any website or product is viral worthy!

I don't think that it has to be a completely different idea, it can be similar to lots of other sites, but it has to have unique content.

This is a very hard thing to do. Creating an atmosphere for viral marketing is very hard. It needs to be something very unique and something that everybody can use.

Unique and original are basically the same thing when it comes to websites. So, for something to be viral, it has to be something.

You can promote anything virally, you just need to produce something that people ether find funny, interesting, informative, etc. Basically give them something they want to share and they will.

TextLinkAds.com has a service like this; create something that is viral and then spread it. They're charging $5,000 for it though... it's ridiculous.

First of all I didn’t know they offered a service like this, could you please add a link here and point to the page that offers it. Second $5000 is nothing if they are good and make an effective viral ad, because good viral ads should reach over 100,000 people, which is less than $0.05 per person (think about how much you pay for PPC and other forms of advertising).

$5,000 is nothing! Most adults make like $40,000 to $60,000 a year, and with taxes and the hundreds of other expenses, $5,000 is not nothing, especially when it's possible that the ad won't work out. It's too big of a gamble.
