I have Crystal Reports in my Visual Studio but I have no idea what it is for or how to use it. Can someone enlighten me?

Here's a site that somewhat explains what Crystal Reports is, although this short description may help you more. :)

Crystal Reports for .NET provides developers with a fast and highly productive way to create and integrate presentation-quality, interactive reports that scale to meet the end user demands. It is available out of the box as a tightly integrated feature of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, Borland Delphi, and C#Builder.

From the website posted by CheeseBurgerMan.

You can always uninstall the Crystal Reports component, saving you some disk space. :)
