As title says! don't you hate it? the fact that either you have to wait up to 80mins to download a file or you gotta pay for it?? isnt that a shame?? and i just dont get it..why do alot of ppl use that??? there are better file hosting services ,faster and with no limitations!!
I just hate it!

I think most people use it for warez. It is very popular place for these groups to store files because security is so relaxed. I dislike any service that forwards me to a file-sharing service that makes me wait for downloads.

I cant use it anyway as BT in there infinite wisdom use a transparent proxy for my net connection, so would say I hate it!

Hmm my prob with it is that well my ISP put me and all its users behind different routers ( coz of IP issues ) then he gives us an IP, then some sites see my REAL IP and other sites like RapidShare.de sees the ROUTER IP, so if with me there are for example 50 other users connected to the same Router I have to compete with them to download a file coz if they download a file I will have to wait! and coz of this I have to pay attention so that when the time comes to less then one min I will be ready to download or other ppl will download!!!!! So its like a war between me and other users!! duh! for example right now some other ******* is downloading a file from RapidSHare and its saying:-

Your IP-address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is already downloading a file. You have to wait until it is finished.
Premium-accounts can download many files at the same time. Get your own Premium-Account now. Instant download-access!
If you are not downloading anything, you are using a proxy-server or a shared IP-address. A Premium-account solves this problem as well.

but i dont want a premium account :( dam I gotta wait!!! noo I hate this!

I hate rapid share. Why? Mass Download servers suxs :P many limits i have static IP :(

Me too, but before I didn't have static IP and still I changed my IP and STILL it wouldn't let me download rotfl! I just don't use it anymore, I'm using Torrents ( most of them are slow but its better )

now they made rapidshare.com because .de is full!

I have a Dynamic IP and I just turn my Router Off and On and download the next file. I use this mainly to get E-books and I am not using warez much and don't like it as I can think how they feel when we simply copy softwares.

I really am but because of this I cannot run a server from my home. That is the bad side. But anyway I like it to remain as a Dynamic IP. And I have a hell lot of stuff downloaded from Rapidshare.de and Rapidshare.com

I prefer the .com
