Although, I have been a programmer for eons, I have only recently started in the website development arena. This is my first business (rather than friends only) website, and yes it is an associate-style business that I have started.
Please review and comment on it. Any views on design, language, usability and accessibility are most welcome. However, if anything else catches your eye then please do comment on that too.

Site is now live!
Thanks for your input.
Cheers:)
Please, could you review my website?

I get this:
HTTP Error 404 - Not found
The beta test phase of our site is now complete and we are "live". Thank you for reviewing our test site.
Please go to our home page at http://www.y2pods.co.uk/. Alternatively, drop us a note at support@y2pods.co.uk with the details of the missing page.
but I assume you are speaking of the home page in the link which looks very amazing! Nice colors, easy to navigate.

Whoa! High praise indeed, thank you Jordan. Yes, the link is to the page that was up for review. I made it live on Monday 25th.
I put a lot of hard work and sweat into the site and thought it looked good. However, I was a little weary of the “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder†syndrome.

That is very true. What looks good to you will look horrible to others.

Simple and to the point! I like it and it looks very good. What CMS system are you using?

Thanks Void,
I tested a few of the open source CMSs, but I could not find one that did what I wanted.
It was quicker and simpler to write my own CMS, because I have also incorporated the auto payment, invoicing, audit trail and reporting features, I wanted.

Very nice layout and good colors. All 'round easy on the eyes and easy to navigate!
One little pet peeve... why when I click on the nav bars these lil yellow bars pop up left/right of the word clicked? It makes me go "Hmm?!" :)

That is an accessibility feature, specifically for people using keyboards and no mouse. When using only the tab key, it is easy to see which link is highlighted before you press enter. The colour is bright to work across browsers and not exclude the colour blind.:)

I know that firsthand... and isn't "organisation" spelled with a z? Other than that, the site looks great.

DevilsCharm,
Organisation is spelt correctly, in the Queen's English. It is only in American English that 'z' is substituted for 's' in so many words, colour is spelt color, etc. Quite lazy actually :)
Thanks for taking the time.

Interesting, I never realized the Z being replaced by S in American English. I was aware of color and colour though. I wonder how this spelling evolved like that and I wonder if other visitors preceive this as spelling errors. Where are your main visitors coming from? America?
