Has anyone ever used the armadillo software to protect their software?

http://siliconrealms.com/index.shtml

I'm wondering if it is worth the money and if it actually does prevent cracks of software.

I've heard of it and see a lot of people using it on Regnow.com. I hear the one problem with it is that everytime it updates you have to update your program which means another release + all of the submitting to shareware sites.

I've also read this. I'm not sure if I want to purchase this software for my software.

Do you think that this software will make the crackers not to crack it? hmm, I think that they will find it as a good challange! and if armadillo is a famous software then SURELY they know how to crack it! dont you think so?

Armadillo updates its algorithm often so crackers can't just crack it once but they have to crack it each time it updates. The problem here being what Jordan said, updating and resubmitting your application.
