I'm not sure but I think it was <embed> with src attribute.Try it.

Think carefully before you do this though. One of the biggest reasons to drive traffic away from your site would be to put music on it

I instantly click back when a webpage has sound. I can't stand it. Nothing like having all the guys at work crowd around your desk to see what you've gotten into. I say, don't do it!

Same here Ronin, I hate that. It's as bad as the Blink or Marquee tags, remember those?
