You are correct it takes little more time to get loaded in slower PCs. But notepad, no comments.

Multiedit with disabled auto-fillings, so that it did not add anything from itself. And it highlights different tags and attributes with different colors, that makes reading of code easier.

Ultraedit.

I like the text highlighting in this program :). I also find the interface very helpful as far as extra features.

I sometimes will use eclipse though.

I've used Ultraedit and even purchased a copy here at work. Very nice program.

Lately I have been using Mac OSX and I found TextMate to be very powerful.

I use PSPad.
It's probably similar to Notepad++. I use it for syntax highlighting and the fact that it can open large files quickly. I sometimes have to handle files around 50-100MB, so it's good to have something that can open them quickly.

I use Macromedia Dreamweaver, I only really use it because it has a website preview on the other tab so I can get a rough idea on how it's looking so far.

And I sometimes use it to layout my forms etc.

I use Dreamweaver and/or notepad since I am only really a begginer in HTML. I agree with chaganlal1 that, "Microsoft Dreamweaver, looks complex at first but is an easy to use tool...."

It's Macromedia/Adobe Dreamweaver. Microsoft created FrontPage.
