For HTML only, I use Notepad2. For PHP I use Dreamweaver.

I don't know about 2 or ++ but I use Notepad very often and for simple edits, I use cPanel's edit file feature So, I don't want to re-upload things.

I've been using vim a lot lately. It has syntax high-lighting and fast over a shell.

As I'm just beginner to web designing stuffs, I often use Microsoft Front Page 2003, and Macromedia Dreamviewer MX 2004.

And I have little bit of Experience working with ASP Maker too.

Dreamviewer is a lot better than Frontpage for me and Really user friendly and easy to use. But I just go to cPanel and edit the file I want and if I have more to edit I use Dreamviewer next to Notepad.

But almost there's no need of getting on with Notepad anymore if you are using DreamViewer since you easily can do the basic editing stuffs in Code View..
