Who currently works on the PAD file and will it evolve? I'd like to see all sites using a central pad repository to collect their data but that would be up to the big sites like download.com to endorse. It would be nice to have to list your file in only one spot so that thousands of other shareware sites could grab it. I hate submitting to each site.

I hate even worse the sites that make you sign up for an account before you can submit. I'm talking about the little sites that really mean nothing but a link back to your software.

PAD, that is portable application description correct?
do you have any more information on the PAD file? I can't seem to find a concise definition.
