What are the goals for? Does anyone set goals and if so do they benefit you?
Is there a manual for this thing! lol, it seems too much to learn at once, a large learning curve!

Yeah I noticed that goal thing, but I don't need technology to keep track of my goals. They're all in my head.

They are quite useful, if you have a forum for example, you can set them up to track how far visitors get in registration process, where users spend longest on your site, where most users exit site etc, helps fine-tuning enormously

I don't care about goals, all I use analytics for is to see my unique hits. I got a new record on Monday, 75! Ha ha... so low :(

Nice, 75 a day isn't bad! I still haven't setup my goals though.

I could explain but no point really when there is already a huge help section on google which does a much better job than I possibly could

Goals are pointless, somebody once said setting goals helps you achieve, I don't think so. Setting goals is too easy to be helpful.
