I am new for this codecall. I need your help. I understand above pseudocode.

Can u help me to writer the pseudcode for below question?
1.Multiple by 8 without using multiplication or addition.
2. Suppose you have an array of 1000 integers. The integers are in random order, but you know each of the integers is between 1 and 5000 (inclusive). In addition, each number appears only once in the array. Assume that you can access each element of the array only once. Describe an algorithm to sort it.
3. If you used auxiliary storage in your algorithm, can you find an algorithm that remains O(n) space complexity?

Thank you very much for your time. I look forward from you.

Hi TcM,
I have a project for a Internation currency exchange and wondered if you could help me. At least help me understand the different terminology when wrtiting it such as :
write=
call=
set=
while=
declare=
I know that string= letters and integer= numbers and I think while= loop, but I don't know the rest or when to use it.

I appreciate the help!

Hi,
I'm new to visual studio in C++. My teacher assigned us to do some Pseudocde requirements. But he expects us to do it on our own. There is a list , I need help on this, Thanks
Display description of program
Prompt the user for the first number
Prompt the user for the second number
If first number equals second number
Display the two numbers are equal
Else
If first number is greater than second number
Assign second number to smallest
Else
Assign first number to smallest
End-If
Display smallest number
End-If

What doe this all mean?

You are going to be writing pseudocode for a console program, read each sentence and imagine what your program has to do in code, such as printing the description (PRINT "This is the description of my program..."), and then defining the variables for the prompt, and writing the prompts.

All new problems require investigation, and so if errors are problems, try to learn as much as you can and report back.

Hi everyone!!
I just started on Problem Solving for Programmers and my lecturer ask us to do a project on a self checkout machine.
I have wrote my solution in pseudo code but was wondering if anyone could have a look so I can get some feedback before submitting my project.

Thanks
