By SEO (ing) your website, is this the best way to get free targetted traffic? What search engine should I aim for?

Yes, it is the best, BEST, way. And of course you should target Google, but you can't really target an engine (unless you know their algorithym).

Well, personally I think Yahoo is the hardest to rank high in. I think they think too highly of themselves, they're all protective of their results yet they're so behind Google. I love Google. It's hard, but worth it once you get up there.

I must agree with Devils Charm; I prefer Yahoo Search over google.This is in no way an insult to our host here who dresses his page with google ads;)

I, too, like Yahoo but think that I would give google a try as well. It is not my first choice.
